Johanna Geertruida Westervelt
Surrounded by love, she was called home on Sunday January 7th, 2018 at Hospice Prince Edward. Hanna Westervelt, of West Lake, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late John. Loved mother of Gerry and his wife Nora of West Lake, Bill and his wife Lynda of Picton, Alex and his wife Cheryl of West Lake and Gilbert and his wife Nancy of West Lake. Beloved Oma of Teresa, Lisa, Jessica, Wesley, Chris, Brad, Trevor, Angela, Janelle, Brian, Ellen, Leah, Lauren and their spouses and the late Lesley and Great-Oma of twenty. A special aunt of Annie Nyman, she will also be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces and nephews both in Canada and Netherlands, and by many in the community who called her Oma. Funeral Service will be held at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, Bloomfield on Friday January 12th at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Greg Lawson officiating. Spring Interment at Quaker Cemetery. If desired, donations to Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family. The family will receive friends at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
