Regular parking enforcement is returning to downtown Picton and will resume on March 1, 2018.
Enforcement was temporarily suspended during the Feed the Meter campaign in support of the Food for Learning program. All money deposited over the past three months will help provide nutritional meals and snacks to local school children.
Parking options in downtown Picton include:
•$1 per hour street parking (maximum 2-hour stay) along Picton Main Street (between Bridge Street and Chapel Street), Elizabeth Street, King Street, Walton Street, and Ross Street.
•$0.50 per hour parking (no time limit) in the Market Lane lot.
•Free parking in King Street and Mary Street municipal lots.
•Free parking for accessible parking permit holders in any space including designated accessible spaces.
The new Pay and Display stations accept coins, credit cards, and non-PIN debit cards. Payment can also be made through mobile devices. Payment instructions are posted on each Pay and Display station.
