In Memoriam
July 10, 2025

ELLERBECK- In memory of a wonderful brother, who left me July 13, 1980 at the age of 20, Ken Ellerbeck.
Of all the gifts in life
However great or small
To have you as a brother was the greatest gift of all
A special time, a special place,
A special brother I can’t replace.
With a aching heart I whisper low,
I miss you brother and love you so.
Your sister Bev.

The family of the late Hank Busscher would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of condolences, flowers, cards, support and kindness following Hank’s passing. We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the funeral on June 12th. The presence ofso many family members, friends, staff and customers provided some comfort in our bereavement. Many wonderful stories about Hank were shared with us and we are thankful and proud that Hank touched so many lives. We were also deeply touched by the generous donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation in memory of Hank. Your kindness will make a difference in the community that was so important to him. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff, particularly Dr. Sussman and Dr. LeBlanc, for the excellent care Hank received while hospitalized at Picton Memorial Hospital. Their dedication to providing and maintaining Hank’s comfort during his illness was very apparent, and we are thankful for everyone’s assistance. We also wish to thank and express our gratitude to Pastor John-Marc Stevenson for the meaningful service and comforting presence he providedduring Hank’s funeral and his interment at Glenwood. His compassion and support were deeply appreciated. We are also grateful to Rick Jones and Ron Watson, long-time friends of Hank, who shared personal and meaningful stories about him in their eulogies and captured Hank’s wonderful character perfectly. Finally, the Busscher family would like to share our sincere appreciation forRushnell Funeral Homes in Picton for the exceptional care and compassion shown in their handling of the arrangements for Hank’s funeral. Your support, empathy and professionalism were a great comfort to us during such a difficult time. Our entire family has been touched by so many wonderful tributes and kind words, and we cannot thank everyone enough.
