Peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday March 6th, 2018. Thelma Mathews of Washburn Street, Picton, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Derek (Red) Mathews. Dear mother of Louise at home, Karen Dance (Rick) of Milford, Linda at home and Annie St.Jean (Phil) of Bloomfield. Dear sister of Howard Clark, Bessie Johnstone, Barbara Kleinsteuber, Malcolm Clark, Sylvia Currie, Carolyn Mitchell, Marilyn Clark, Kenneth Clark and the late Jack Clark and Gladys Miller. Sadly missed by her 3 grandsons Richard, Ryan and Mathew. By Mrs. Mathew’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to Hospice Prince Edward or the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation  would be appreciated by the family.
