Dorothy Edythe Jones
peacefully at Moira Place, Tweed on Friday April 27th, 2018 in her 91st year.
Daughter of the late Charley and Ruth Hotston. Beloved wife of the late Donald Jones. Dorothy is predeceased by one son Charles (Charlie) Jones. Loving mother of Judy (Robert) Worley of Belleville, Donna (Robert) Johnson of Winnipeg, Robert Jones of Carleton Place, Janet (Chris) Kost of Winnipeg, Jason Jones (Karen McKinley-Jones) of Kingston and remembered by daughter in law Kathy Young of Belleville. Sister of Ron (Helen) Hotston of Picton and predeceased by brothers, Jack , Robert, and Harry Hotston. Remembered by sisters-in-law Madeline and Jean. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great grandchildren. Arrangements in the care of Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel (613-968-2273) Belleville. Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery at a later date. Dorothy’s family would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude for the care and compassion shown to their mother during her time at Moira Place and if desired, Memorial donations to Moira Place Resident Council or the U.H.K.F. Kingston Regional Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
