The prize was raffled off during the Rotary Club of Picton’s recent Uncork Canada event with proceeds from the raffle supporting the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation. Gunning is a member of the Wine Judges of Canada and an amateur winemaker. The prize contained 72 bottles of top-scoring wines from the recent All Canadian Wine Championships judging, which was held at the Waring House over a period of three days. A total of 1,393 entries were critiqued by a panel of 19 judges from across Canada. Next year’s Uncork Canada event is June 15. (Submitted photo)
