An amazing, loving, compassionate, women, wife, mother, grand-mother, aunt, caregiver and friend who was loved by all. Died peacefully at Hallowell House on Friday October 19, 2018. Shirley Mattinson, nee Attree, of Picton, formerly of Burr Road, Oxford N.S., and Toronto, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Guy. Loving mother of Lynn McDonald (Malcolm) of Calgary, Cindy Menzies (Stephen Byrne) of Picton and Ted Mattinson (Diane) of Wellington. Dear sister of Betty Alexander of Toronto and the late Doug Attree. Proud Nan of Terry Menzies, Amanda Gold, Melissa Randell, and Marcy Mattinson and three great grandchildren Zach and Ruby Gold and Whatt Randell. Loved and missed by many nieces and nephews, having a special bond with niece Brittany Alexander. Our heart felt love and appreciation to all the staff at Hallowell House who looked after our mother with respect, kindness and love everyday. We Thank you. The service will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery in the Stone Chapel 2:00pm Saturday October 27th followed by a hillside burial.  Pastor Larry Snider officiating.
