Rotary Lilac Ride set for next Weekend

Come out and enjoy the scents and sights of spring in the County as the Rotary Club of Picton is hosting its 6th annual Lilac Ride May 26.

Starting at Rotary Hall (375 Main Street, Picton) there are three marked courses to choose from.

The courses include 25km route which starts at 10 A.M., a 50km and 100km route.

All courses will take cyclists through routes including Big Island, Northport and Green Point.

‘Early bird’ registration before May 19 is $40 (save 20 per cent) and after May 19 is $50.

Youth 17 and under are $15. Event day registration/check-in is at the Community Centre starting at 7:30 a.m.

The event is raising funds for ‘Reaching for Rainbows,’ which supports and empowers vulnerable children in the community to discover a different perspective of the world and themselves.
