Ken Istead passed away at PEC Memorial Hospital, Picton on Monday, November 11th, 2019, one day after his 40th anniversary to his loving wife Rosemary Istead. Ken Istead at the age of 75. Beloved father of Peter (Kristie) and MaryEllen Istead-Byrne (Bernard). Grandpa to Tryn and RayLynne. Survived by his brother Arnie Istead (Sue). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ken was a farmer and a proud rail fencer who enjoyed gossiping with his friends at every opportunity. He will be sadly missed by friends and family. At Ken’s request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 18th at 2:00 at the Wellington Pentecostal Church. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
