Earlier this week Community Care announced that it was placing most programs and activities on hold until further notice.  We are responding to COVID-19.

We have closed the office at 74A King Street, Picton; the Thrift Shop at 153 Main Street, Picton; Foot Care Clinics, Active Living Programs, Income Tax, support groups, seminars & Seniors Luncheon Social events.

At the time of writing two of our programs are presently operating with modified schedules, for urgent situations only, and with ongoing rigorous active screening of both clients and volunteers.

We are so grateful to the volunteers who are delivering hot and frozen Meals on Wheels to seniors who need them.

Other volunteers are taking seniors to urgent medical appointments. Friendly visiting and reassurance programs are still operating by telephone only.
