A Ukrainian family owned business based in Prince Edward County will host a celebratory fundraiser Saturday.

Stillus Craft Spirits, a new distillery located at 2404 County Rd 1 next to Terracello Winery is hosting a Ukrainian Independence Day Celebration Saturday Aug. 20 from 2-6 p.m.

A Celebration of Ukrainian culture, spirits, and food will  be available as the Derzhavi family and owner Olexiy Derzhavin commemorates Ukraine’s 31st birthday as an independent Nation.  

Ukrainian pottery, clothing examples and Ukrainian artist displays, music, and aspects of dance will be there. Select art will be available for purchase with a percentage of proceeds donated.

All proceeds from food sales of borscht, pierogis, and a light dessert, go to fundraising efforts for humanitarian aid.
