Explore the rich legacy of Ancient Egypt over wine tastings – at the county's most historic vineyard. Egyptologist Laura Ranieri Roy will present untold stories of ancient treasures and breathtaking visuals of Egypt’s most iconic tombs, temples, and monuments. The talk will also highlight recent archaeological discoveries, including evidence of vast wine stores in an ancient queen’s tomb and the upcoming unveiling of Tutankhamun’s treasures, including his royal wine, at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
This special event is a must-attend for history enthusiasts, wine lovers, and travelers alike. In addition to exploring the wonders of ancient Egypt, attendees will enjoy a delightful four-part wine tasting from The Grange’s acclaimed collection. The event will also provide a sneak peek into exciting Egypt tours planned for 2025.
