Details

Join us at Mariners Park Museum as we welcome James Ridyard, the featured artist in residence, August 15–17. James will be creating artwork inspired by the rich maritime history of the site and interpreting the space through his unique artistic lens.

Visitors are encouraged to drop in, meet James, and watch the creative process unfold. Explore the Museum while you're here—it's the perfect opportunity to connect with local heritage and contemporary art in one inspiring visit.

This residency is part of a larger, multi-site project where James will visit each of the County Museums to create site-specific art. All of the works will be brought together for a special exhibit in Wellington in early 2027.

Don't miss this chance to see art in the making and experience Mariners Park in a whole new way!

August 15–17 | 10 AM – 4 PM | Free Admission (Donations Appreciated)
