April is Poetry Month! During this Creative Writing Workshop series, come 'Meet your Muse at the Museum' this April 16, 23, and 30, 6:30 – 8:30PM at historic Macaulay House in Macaulay Heritage Park (35 Church Street, Picton).
With local writer Jane Macdonald, give yourself to the joy of writing at this gracious, historic House. Come for one or all three evenings. Experienced or new writers are welcome. This is a no-charge event sponsored by your County Museums. Donations to Macaulay House warmly welcomed but not required!
We’ll start out together at the kitchen table in front of a cheerful fire with some fun, short writing prompts to get us warmed up. Then you’ll be free to go find your private spot to continue writing in the rest of the gracious, historic Macaulay House. We’ll end the evening back in the kitchen and those who wish to can share the evening’s writing.
Bring your own notebook and pen, tablet, laptop or phone. Light snacks will be provided. For more information contact Jane Macdonald [email protected] or 613-970-0796
