As more people experience mental health challenges, awareness is growing. Yet in the moment, it can still be difficult to know how to respond when someone is struggling.

Join us for an information session where we will discuss examples of real-life situations that can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming in public spaces. We’ll also offer clear, supportive ways to recognize what may be happening and how to respond with confidence and compassion.

Leading the discussion is Psychiatrist, Dr Joe Burley, regular guest on 99.3’s County Grapevine and will be facilitated by Suzanne O’Connor, host of 99.3’s Tuesday Grapevine.

Topics we will explore are:
Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Schizophrenia, Narcissism, and
Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorders

Wednesday, May 6th, 7pm Wellington Legion
Thursday, May 7th, 2pm Picton Library (Flex Room)
