Join Pam Mayhew at the Rose House Museum – the gem of Waupoos – a simple yet charming farmhouse built in the early 1800s in a gorgeous pastoral setting for a full day plein air painting workshop set against the beautiful and historic backdrop of Prince Edward County. Designed for beginner to intermediate artists, this immersive experience invites you to step into the landscape and paint just as the early Canadian impressionists once did – outdoors, surrounded by nature, light and history.

Working in oil we will explore form, observation of light and colour together and paint in a quick impressionistic mode. Instruction will include demonstrations, group discussion and one on one guidance tailored to your level. Our brushes will dance.

It will be fun day outside and on the front porch if necessary. Together we will observe and create marvelous sketches that are complete on their own or can be made into larger paintings.

All registered students are invited to join us the next day for a Plein Air Happening where you can continue to explore and navigate this fun.

Workshop Fee $160 please register at https://ticketscene.ca/events/53311/
