Registration is now open for the next session of Youth Craft Academy: Glass, led by local glass artist and owner of Lalaland Glass Studio, Kirei Samuel! Students will learn all about the art of glass fusing, from how to work with cold glass to making a design, to understanding the process of firing the work in a kiln to fuse it together.

First launched in 2023, the Youth Craft Academy engages youth to learn craft and design skills through hands-on, tangible projects. Thanks to our community sponsor, Rue Pigalle, every participant is automatically discounted 75% during registration and full bursaries are also available! This colourful 6-week program for youth aged 12-16 runs Thursdays from 3:30-6 PM starting April 17th, 2025 at the County Arts Lab.

Course dates: April 17th, 24th, May 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, 2025 (no class May 1st) at the County Arts Lab, Unit 2E, 206 Main Street, Picton.
