Happy Mother’s Day
This is the first time in our lives that we will not get to experience the joy and love of celebrating Mother’s Day with our beautiful mother.
Sadly we lost her 7 months ago at the grand age of 96, but we know she watches down on us every moment of our lives, and fills our hearts with great memories.
Mom and Dad (Lorraine & Fred) dedicated their lives to raising us 8 children, which they did an excellent job of. They made many sacrifices along the way to provide for us, but the most important thing they gave us was the unconditional love and the blessing of growing up in a large family. My siblings all agree that we wouldn’t trade those memories for anything in the world.
Mom raised us to be respectful and honest. She taught us by example, and guided us back on to the right path when we wandered.
She was our mom, our mentor, our teacher, our nurse, our referee, our guidance counsellor, our provider of unlimited love, and I hope I didn’t forget to say, “SHE WAS/IS OUR MOM” the most inspirational woman in the world to us.
Mom, you raised 8 children, and you were blessed to have 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. As a large family, you always made sure we upheld a tight relationship with each other, and we celebrated most special occasions together at family gatherings. After you left us to begin your journey into heaven, we felt lost without you. As the months passed by, we realized through the memory of your love, we have taken what was already a strong family bond and enhanced that bond even stronger.
You were an amazing woman then and you will continue to be amazing in our hearts forever.
Thank you for all you gave us MOM. We love and miss you.
