In loving memory of Orville James Walsh, 74, of Prince Edward County, passed away suddenly on December 18th.
Beloved husband of the late Daphne Walsh (nee Folkard), loving father of Alan (Brenda) and
Alex (Theresa) and grandfather of Summer, Nathan and Finn. Predeceased by his brother
Bryan and his sister Deborah Hanafy. Orville was born on August 14, 1949 in Hamilton, Ontario.
He received a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo in 1976, where he
met Daphne, before beginning to work at Honda Canada in 1977 until his retirement in 2007.
Orville enjoyed many Honda cars and travelled from coast to coast on his many Honda
motorcycles over the years. In retirement, Orville devoted himself to family and community
groups in support of Prince Edward County. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends,
coworkers and extended family. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to
the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613) 476-2450 on Friday
December 22nd, with visiting from 7 pm to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel
on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 at 1 p.m. Spring Interment at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Back the Build, Prince Edward County Memorial
