It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Agnes Barbara Ward (née Dueck; formerly Carnegie) on the morning of May 13th, 2026 in Picton, Ontario, Canada. Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Ron Ward; mother of Valerie, Thomas, and John; elective mother of Vicky Grimshaw; grandmother of Renée Bleakely, David Evans, Jacqueline Kerr, Isobel Carnegie, Jack Carnegie, Lori Cerqua, and Sarah Bell, and a host of great-grandchildren.

We are very grateful to the staff at Hallowell House in Picton for their compassionate, dedicated and professional care of Agnes these past months.
A formal service to celebrate Agnes’ life will be held in Orillia, Ontario, this coming summer (date and location to be announced).
