Peacefully entered into the arms of her Saviour, Jesus, at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Almona Haws (nee Reynolds) of Picton, died in her 100th year.  Beloved wife of the late Lionel and loving mother of Carolyn Courneyea (Ed) of Picton and the late Gary (surviving Cathy). Dearest grandmother of Theresa (Jason), Corinna (Tim), Andrew (Natasha), Angela (Tim), great grandmother of Cassandra (Mitchell), Blake, Lydia, Everett, Ruby, Austin, Heidi, Samuel, Josie, John David, Dahlia, and great great grandmother of Kinsley, Everley, Braxton, Jett and Elijah. Remembered by her siblings Marilyn Crowe (late Bud Gregory), Larry Reynolds and predeceased by George (late Bea), Bruce Reynolds (late Betty) and Ruth Pettingill (late George). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Haws rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Funeral Service was held in Emmanuel Baptist Church, Bloomfield on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 1 pm with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service. Interment Glenwood Cemetery.
