Anne Evelyn Trant

1935-2024


It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anne on September 10th , 2024 in Picton Ontario. Anne leaves behind her son David (Sheila) and daughter Hope (Rod), granddaughters Jessica (Mike) and Meaghan, sister Elizabeth and nephews Alexei and Theo.Predeceased by husband Ross (2009). Born Annie Petite in English Harbour West, Newfoundland to Edna and Harry Petite, Anne grew up in Halifax after her father’s death and worked as a nurse before raising her family in Toronto. She and Ross moved to the County in retirement where she volunteered at the hospital and was active in the Women’s Institute as well as St. Andrew’s Anglican church. Our deepest gratitude for the care and compassion extended to Anne and her family. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30 th at 1:00 p.m. at Wellington Cemetery.  Memorial Donations to Hospice Prince Edward would be greatly appreciated by the family.
