It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles “Stewart” Hunter on Sunday, March 15^th, 2026. Stewart was born June 23, 1940 in Rock Island Quebec to the late James Stewart Hunter and the late Gladys Irene Hunter (Mooney). He is predeceased by his loving wife Beverly and his son Andrew, He is survived by his daughter Patricia, granddaughter Brenna and grandson Ethan of Calgary, step-daughter Lisa McConnell, her daughter Emmalee and granddaughter Bailey of Picton and step-son Craig McConnell of Edmonton. He will be missed by his family members and many friends. Stewart served in The Royal Canadian Navy from 1957-1962 and the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1963 – 1992. As per Stewart’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Prince Edward Memorial Hospital Back the Build would be appreciated.
