Peacefully entered into rest at his home, on Monday, June 3, 2024, Clifford Foster of East Lake died at the age of 93. Loved husband of the late Margaret (nee Corfield). Loving Father of Dean (Jane) of East Lake, Stewart (Stacey) of Airdrie, Alberta, and Roxanne Chamberlain (Ross) of Toronto. Grandfather of Cale, Rylan, Cayce, Clinton (Tiffany), Chelsea (Derek), Devin and Mikayla and Great Grandfather of Jaxson, Weston, Alexis and Benjamin. Dear Brother of Gordon (late Sheila), late Russell (late Rena), late John (surviving Roma), late Donald (late Barbara), late Mary Vader (surviving Arnold), and Lawrence (Joyce) and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. The family extend their appreciation and gratitude to Harold & Kim Foster, the team at Paramed, Cheryl Hilts – PSW, Jennifer Hall – RN, David Manchester – RPN, Dr. Noah Walman of Prince Edward Family Health Team, Members of the Meals on Wheels program for the care provided to Mr. Clifford. Mr. Clifford was a special man, and a father figure to many over the years. He was a member of the Quinte Maple Hall of Fame, known as the “Tomato King” in the 1970’s supplying tomatoes to the local canning factories, and a Lifetime Vendor at the Belleville Farmer’s Market. Mr. Clifford rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Mr. Clifford’s Life will be held to coincide with the 100th Anniversary of Fosterholm Farms in September (date and time to be announced).
