Peacefully entered into rest at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton, on Sunday, January 7, 2024, Don Johnson of Picton, died at the age of 91. Son of the late Everett Johnson & Ida (nee Van Blaricom). Husband of the late Jean Van Meer (nee Howe) and the late Carol (nee Wells). Father of Marie (Russell Downey) of Oakville and Kim (Dean Dawson) of Carrying Place. Step father to Barb (Gaye Insley), Larry (Connie), Rosemary (Rob Welsh) and Lisa. Special uncle to Judy (Bernie Wrice), uncle to Gary(Donna). Predeceased by his brother Ross and sister Theda. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great nephews. Mr. Johnson rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1 p.m. with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service. Spring Interment in the family plot at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton.
