It is with great sadness the family of Emma Kathleen “Kay” Nellis (nee Mann) of Belleville announce her passing at the Belleville General Hospital, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age 91. Daughter of the late Edward Mann & Sarah (nee Reid) and wife of the late Richard Harold Nellis. Loving mother of Richard (Anne) of Thornhill, Steven (Hibo) of Oshawa, Theresa (Jeff) of Cobourg, and grandmother of Michael, Heather (Brandon), Vanessa-Emma (Jeremy), Jasmine (Marco), and great grandmother of Lila and Connor. Predeceased by her siblings Alex Mann, Margaret McLaughlin, Elizabeth Cole and Muriel Fleming. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Nellis rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Graveside Service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery on Saturday, August 24, 2024 @ 12 noon, followed by a Celebration of Kay’s Life at the Funeral Home from 1-4 pm. Time of Sharing & Memories at 2 pm.
