Ernest Cyril Patrick Mowbray “Pat”

March 17, 1936 - April 28, 2025

Peacefully entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton, on Monday, April 28, 2025, Pat Mowbray of Picton, surrounded by his family, died at the age of 89. Son of the late Ernest & Edith Mowbray (nee Farr) and husband of the late Leona (nee Guernsey). Loving father of Norman (Jackie) of Demorestville, Mike (Crystal) of Enniskillen, Tammy Doyle (Jim) of Odessa, and Jake (Lisa) of Picton. Dearest grandfather of the late Sara Ann, late Justin, Brandon, Erin, Christopher (Angel), Trevor (Jenna), Adam, Zack, Tyler, and Nathan and great grandfather of Patrick and Eleanor. Survived by his sisters Ruth Cooper, Nellie Creasy, and Joyce Tolley and predeceased by his siblings Marion Preston, Roy Mowbray, Doris Mather, Harold Mowbray, Gladys Thompson, Lois Guernsey, and Margaret Gardner. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at the Prince Edward Curling Club, 375 C Main Street, Picton, on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. with a Time of Sharing at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the family plot at Cherry Valley Cemetery at a later date.
