It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Floyd Carlyle Snider at Hallowell House Long Term Care, Picton, on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in his 93rd year. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis Snider (nee Rose) and was the devoted father to Douglas (Trudy), Juanita, all of Picton and Tammy of Cardinal. He is predeceased by his son Glen and daughter Judy. Floyd was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He is predeceased by his sister Verna Onley and his brothers Ronald and Stewart, his siblings-in-law Robert and Gloria Hart, and will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, close family members Paul Konning, Hope, and his special kitty, Buddy. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Loyalist Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
