Entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Frances Kellar (nee Slingerland) of Picton died at the age of 90. Daughter of the late Whitney & Ethel Slingerland (nee Harris) and wife of the late Lewis. Loved mother of Joan Blakely (Steve) of Picton, Jane McConnell (Milton) of Plainfield, late Fred (surviving Judy) of Oshawa, and Stephen (Barb) of Picton. Fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren (3 predeceased), and 11 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother-in-law Jack of Belleville and predeceased by her sisters Reta, Hazel and Ethel. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Main Street, Picton on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11 am with visitation in the Church from 10 am until the time of the Service. Private Interment in the family plot at Moira Cemetery. If desired, donations to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church or the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
