It’s with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary George Whitby in his 83rd year. Loving son of the late William Thomas Whitby, and Hildred Ernestine (MacKenzie). Beloved husband of Susan (Peeling). Loving dad to Jordan, Sean (Tamara), and Paul Wight. Loving grandfather of Abagale, Lily, Isabella, Geordie and great grandfather of Oakley. Gary will be deeply missed by in laws Pat (late Roger), Leland (late Kay), Judy (Don), Sandra (late Ted), William (Lynn), Diane (late David), Steven, late Stanley (late Joyce), late Lola (late Noel), late Louis (Linda surviving), late Sidney, late Pauline, late Sharon (late Rob), late Nancy (late Doug), late Penny (Darryl surviving), late Peter. Lovingly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews and extended friends and family. Cherished memories will always remain of times spent enjoying the beauty of Salt Springs, Nova Scotia with aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a grave side service on the Saturday the 18th of April 2026 at the Cherry Valley cemetery from 11:00 a.m..  In memory of Gary, donations can be made to Make a Wish Foundation Canada or a charity of choice.
