Peacefully entered into rest at his home in Milford, with medical assistance in dying (MAID), on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Gator Hollingsworth, surrounded by his friends and family, died at the age of 71. Son of the late Louis & Toni Hollingsworth (nee Heffernan). Loving father of Sam of Cherry Valley, and remembered by Sam’s mother, Wendy (nee Steenburgh).  Survived by his brother Randy of Stirling and predeceased by his brother Darryl. Fondly remembered by his best friend Cindy Menzies and son Terry of Picton, his nephew, Ben, and his great niece, Willow. In keeping with Gator’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the family plot at Cherry Valley Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations in memory of Gator to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). Online condolences and to share memories of Gator at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
