Peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Ila Mindle (nee Claus) of Picton, died at the age of 94.  Daughter of the late William Claus & Mary Ellen (nee Maracle) and wife of the late Gord.  Loving mother of Larry of Belleville, Bonnie (Brian) of Picton, Linda (late Doug) of Bowmanville, Shirley (Lyndon), and Terry (Liesha) all of Picton.  Sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild and 2 step-great grandchildren.  Predeceased by 1 great granddaughter.  Survived by her sister Marion Regan of Kingston and predeceased by her brothers Ron, Ken, Bill, Peter and her sister Mabel Maracle.  Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  In keeping with Ila’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Carrying Place Annex Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450)  Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
