“Jody” Joanne Elizabeth Read

September 20, 1958 - MayPassed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, Jody Read of Salmon Point, Prince Edward County, formerly of Toronto, at the age of 67. Daughter of the late Rodney and Helen Read. Much loved wife of 38 years to Tom Donovan. Proud sister of Rev. Janet Read-Hockin (Joe), Meribeth Tikkanen (David), and will be forever remembered by her niece Katie and nephew Mathew. Jody is also predeceased by brothers Jamie and Tim Read. In keeping with Jody's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebratory Bingo Night will be held in Jody's honour at Dune Hopper Brewing Company - 1613 County Road 12, Bloomfield - on Saturday, June 6 from 6pm onwards. A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date in Toronto. If desired, memorial donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation are appreciated.
