John Edmund Marie Beaudette

July 22, 1948 - June 25, 2024

Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, John Beaudette of Picton, died at the age of 75. Son of the late Edmond Beaudette & Anastasia (nee McLaughlin) and beloved husband of Gertrude “Freddie” (nee Wilno). Loving father of Kelvin of Vancouver, Claire of Vancouver, Patrick of Berlin, Philip (Diana) of Whitby, and his “favourite child” Thomas, the cat, and grandfather of Ruben, Elliott, and Chiara. Dear brother of Patricia Mitchell (David), Audrey Groves (Bruce), Joan Hayes (Jerry), and Lucille McPherson (Michael). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. S. Leblanc and Dr. S. Blanchard of Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Dr. Wiseman and Dr. O’Neil of the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Dr. E. Woods and Dr. P. Hollett of Belleville General Hospital, and Rev. Father Robert Chisholm for all of their care and compassion to John. Mr. Beaudette rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton (613-476-2450) for visitation on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Father George Okoye in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Picton, on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment and Rite of Committal with Prayers at Mt.
