John Francis Patrick Larter,

December 20, 1944 – June 11, 2024

Retired Plant Manager – Resin Department, Benjamin Moore Paint Company, Technical Coatings, Burlington & Toronto
Suddenly entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, John Larter of Quinte Isle Campark, Cherry Valley, died at the age of 79.  Son of the late Frank Larter and Geraldine (nee Croft) and beloved husband of Gayle Wigley (nee Peeling).  Loving father of Elizabeth Clancy (Adam) of Bowmanville and step-father of Allison Wigley (Oliver May) of Quebec City and Christine Wigley of Burlington.  Dearest grandfather of Phillip, Joshua, Cassandra, Charlotte, Mikayla, Browen, Elijah, Connor, Abigail, and Bentley and great-grandfather of Parker.  Survived by his sister Becky MacLeod of Toronto and his brother Dan Larter of PEI.  Predeceased by his sister Hope Casford, and his brothers Bob Larter and Tom Larter.  Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and sadly missed by his faithful pet cat, Luna.
Mr. Larter rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton (613-476-2450).
