Robert “Bob” Williams, who farmed and lived on the fertile soil south-east of Bloomfield for most of his 89 years, died on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Hospice Prince Edward. Given his understanding of death, just being another part of life, it feels right to say he was accompanied to his death by his wife Helen (nee French), his children Janine (Mike), Brad (Stephanie), Don (Anne), and Carol (Doug), his grandchildren Sarah (Nathan), Samantha (Brad) and Emma, Ben, Naomi, Lindsay (Jeff), Justin (Keturah), Brittany (D.J.), Bryn, and Lochlan and his eight great grandchildren. Bob is predeceased by his three sisters Roberta, Betty, and Shirley, his parents Morley and Gladys, and a great-granddaughter Miighwaanhs. A Celebration of Bob’s Life Service will be held in Bloomfield United Church at a later date, to be announced.  If desired, donations to Bloomfield United Church or Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450) Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
