It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Judith at the Belleville General Hospital on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, in her 82nd year. Beloved daughter of the late Max and Selma Wodzak. Beloved wife of 9 years to Barry Philp. Loving mother to Gwen McComb (deceased), Cornel Hacke (Kathy), and Collette Rodgers (Rob). Devoted grandmother to Amanda (Aaron), Troy, Brandon, Kyle, Jack, Byron, and great-grandmother to Archer, and Autumn. Fondly remembered by her siblings Sylvia Grills (late Gerry), and Ken Wodzak (Karen). Predeceased by her siblings Irene Roluf Drew (late Ernie), Max Wodzak (late Donna), Selma McComb (late John), George Wodzak (Wilma), and Georgina Wodzak. Ever remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many friends and local artists.
The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME 60 Division St., Trenton (613-392-2111) on Monday, September 14th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. A Celebration of Judith’s Life will begin in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. followed by a reception in the funeral home. A private inurnment to take place at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.
