Suddenly entered into rest at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Kay Peeling (nee Rubia) of R R 2, Picton, died at the age of 70. Daughter of the late Daniel Rubia & Iva (nee Kelly) and beloved wife for 48 years to Leland Peeling. Loved mother of Pamela of Belleville and the late Catherine Murphy. Special grandmother of Wyatt and Lily. Dear sister of Pauline Lane, late Paul Rubia, Gervis Rubia (Julie), Laura Rubia, Danny Rubia, and Dean Rubia. Daughter-in-law of the late Ed & Muriel Peeling, sister-in-law of Steve Peeling, Bill Peeling (Lynne), Judy Peeling (Don), June Kempton, Pat Brant, Sue Whitby (Gary), Diane Beverage, and the late Stanley Peeling, late Lola Elsbury, late Luke Peeling, late Sharon Peeling, late Nancy Robinson, late Penny Smart, and late Peter Peeling. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Peeling rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Graveside Service & Rite of Committal with Prayers will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery, on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Father George Okoye officiating.
