Leona Mary (Mulvihill)Korchuk

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Hospice Prince Edward at the age of 87. Devoted wife of the late Al Korchuk of 45 years. Cherished mother of Deanna Korchuk (Russ Anderson) of Enniskillen, Natalie Korchuk of Bloomfield and Daniel Korchuk (Terra) of Picton. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Dustin (Bailey), Breagh (John), Liam, Aidan and Alex, as well great grandsons Logan and Riley and great granddaughter Violet. Beloved sister of Margie Guzonas (late Stanley) of Flesherton. Leona is predeceased by her parents Daniel and Margaret Mulvihill as well as her siblings, Stanley, Violet, Francis, Doris, Clarissa, Thomas Patrick, Shirley, Gerald, and Joan. Leona was an active member of the choir at St Gregory’s Church. Family was important to her and she enjoyed spending time with her children, sisters and grandsons at sporting events, concerts, vacations and many family functions. Her love of song was also evident at family gatherings where she loved to sing with nephews, John and David, sisters Margie and Joan and grandsons Alex and Dustin. Leona cherished the visits with her grandchildren. She could be found at their sporting events when they were younger and as they grew older she looked forward to conversations about sports with Aidan, history with Liam, music Alex and Dustin. Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Roman Catholic Church, Picton on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Picton. Memorial donations can be made in Leona’s memory to Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
