When Linda started her last chapter, she said that she wanted to do so with dignity and grace. With clear intention and a well of dignity and grace so full and deep, she did exactly that. Her courage, kindness, and genuine interest in others continued to shine through even during her most difficult moments. In fact, all of Linda’s chapters emanated these qualities. In her roles as psychotherapist, professor, and Nia and yoga instructor, Linda’s wit, humour, insight, grace, and compassion penetrated every encounter and interaction with others. She touched, healed, and impacted countless lives. Her unmatched ability to listen left others feeling heard, understood, and valued. She was wondrous. At Linda’s request, there will be no funeral or need for a ceremonial celebration of life. Linda’s life was celebrated as evidenced by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support shown to her, especially during the past three years. It fortified her in being able to feel gratitude and grace reflexively. We were sustained by our beloved friends, Nia and yoga sisters, family, and her precious safe people. You will never know how much your unwavering support held us up. Also, Linda’s team at Sunnybrook Hospital provided unmatched and unwavering interest and investment in her care. It continually astounded us and we are so grateful for the feeling of safety and value that this gave her. I love you my beautiful beauty. Thank you. Together forever.
