Margaret Helen “Peggy” Welsh

Entered into rest at Kentwood Park Nursing Home, Picton, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, Peggy Welsh (nee Lewis) of Picton, formerly of Brighton, and Cherry Valley, died at the age of 97. Daughter of the late Rev. E.V.C. Lewis & Mabel (nee Tetter) and beloved wife of the late George Donald. Loving mother of Rick (Janet) of Frankford, Rob (Noreen) of Brighton, Leafa (Terry Minaker) of Demorestville, and Ralph (Shelly) of Picton. Special grandmother of Angie, Amy (Tammy), Wes (Mellisa), Jay (Maygol), and Geordan (Sarah) and great grandmother of Brooklyn, Abagale, Anna, Ivy, George, and Nora. Predeceased by her siblings Vincent Lewis, Ralph Lewis, Elizabeth Thompson, and David Lewis. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Welsh rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 2 pm with visitation for 1 hour before the Service. Rev.
