It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Marilyn at the Belleville General Hospital, in her 79th year. Cherished daughter of the late Wilbur and Violet (Pollard) King. Survived by her friend Richard Conley. Loving mother to William Belnap. Fondly remembered by her niece Sheri-Lyn Day. Predeceased by her sister Lorraine day.
Marilyn is the eldest daughter of the legendary Prince Edward County Berry King, a former business owner and PSW. Marilyn had a love for music, and dance. Her hobbies included handcrafted jewelery. Marilyn was also associated with Alternatives For Woman to help those in need.
In honor of Marilyn’s wishes, a Celebration of her life gathering will be held at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME – 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111) on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 from 1pm – 3pm. If desired, donations to Alternatives For Women in Picton would be appreciated by the family. Interment will take place at Quaker Cemetery in Bloomfield at a later date.
