Member of the St. Gregory the Great – C. W. L. 

Peacefully entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, Lenore Bongard (nee Chown) of Picton, died at the age of 81.  Daughter of the late Frederick and Marguerite Chown (nee Launderville) and beloved wife for 60 years to David.  Loving mother of Brian (Gabriella Nagy), Shelley (Glenn Parsons), grandmother of Jade (Derek), Reily, Jaime and great grandmother of Grayson.  Survived by her brother David Chown (Mary) and predeceased by her sister Kathy Boucher (late Don).  Dear aunt of Jeffrey, Errol, and Kevin Boucher, and Jennifer, Joanne and Jason Chown. A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1 pm in St. Gregory the Great Church, Picton, with visitation starting at 11 am.  Spring Interment and Rite of Committal with Prayers in Mt.
