Jean left this world peacefully after 102 years of a long life, well lived.
Pre deceased by her adored Walter (1993), infant son Glen (1951), son in law David Coe (2017) and son Peter (2018).
Missing her are daughter Patty, grandchildren Jonathan (Emily), Emma (Brad) and Jessica (Riley).
Great grandmother to Freya and Taavi Poulsen, Elnaz Houdi Coe and great grandmother in spirit to Baby Houdi Coe (July, 2026).
Jean met the sorrows and challenges in her life with good grace and steely determination. An excellent golfer, bridge player and knitter- we all wear off “Jean” socks with pride.
Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of Jean’s life is planned for the summer. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Manor on Loyalist Parkway whose tender care of mom, especially in her last days, was so appreciated.
