of Wellington, Ontario passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Peter was born in London, England in 1937 to Thomas and Constance. Peter built a successful career in the insurance industry that would take him around the world, living in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, and eventually Canada. In 1971, he and his wife Mary Anne settled in Oakville, Ontario, where they would start their family. Peter became a respected executive in the reinsurance field, retiring as CEO. They moved to Wellington, Ontario upon his retirement. 
Peter will be dearly missed by his wife of 57 years, Mary Anne; his children: Phillippa (Stewart) and Mark (Heather); his grandchildren: Sophie, Vivian and Owen; his sisters: Margaret Fawcett (Johnny) and Brenda Barnes of the UK; his sisters-in-law: Beatrice Farnsworth (Alan) of Australia and Margaret Bisshopp (Garry) of the UK; and his many nieces and nephews. 
At Peter’s request, no service will be held.
