Phyllis Walker

July 8, 1923 - February 7, 2025

Entered into rest at Hallowell House Long Term Care, Picton, on Friday, February 7, 2025, Phyllis Walker (nee Pounder) of Picton, formerly of Milford, died at the age of 101. Daughter of the late David Pounder & Evelyn (nee Eaton) and wife of the late Donald Walker. Predeceased by her sister Eva Minaker. Loving mother of Glendon (Diane), Donna Faye Salt (Bob Rorabeck), all of Milford, and Anna Lynn Murphy (Wayne Murphy) of Ajax. Loved grandmother of Brent (Erin), Kim (Chris), Jeffrey (Wendy), Heather (Steven), Katelin (Randy), Wesley (Erica), Shannon (Andrew) and Devon (Christine), great grandmother of Sarah (Alex), David (Amanda), Bridget, Lucy, Nicholas (Hannah), Emma, Keagan, Carter, Finn, Meadow, Emerson, Summer, Avery, Mirah, Brogan and Carrigan, and great-great grandmother of Griffin, Miller and Bobby. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Known for her many years of dedicated service to St. Philips Anglican Church , 70+ Year Member of St. Philip’s ACW, and to the South Marysburgh Community. A Private Family Memorial Service was held at Rushnell Funeral Home-Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, The Venerable Nancy Northgrave officiating. Spring Interment in the family plot at Cherry Valley Cemetery. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Hallowell House for all the kindness and wonderful care given to Mrs. Walker over the past 13 years.
