peacefully at E. J. McQuigge Lodge, Cannifton, on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in his 97th year.  Son of the late Alfred and Bertha Reimers. Beloved husband of Marilyn Reimers (formerly Samson) of Cannifton. Loving father of Mark, Eric (Cathy) and John Reimers. Step father of Todd and Parker Samson and the late Blake Samson. Proud grandfather of Annalee and Evan Reimers. Al is predeceased by all his siblings, Beatrice, Lawrence, Bertha, Richard and Carla.  He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. Al devoted his life to spreading the Word of God as an ordained minister for 70 plus years. He had a desire to keep learning and his curiosity was contagious. The family extend their gratitude to the staff of E. J. McQuigge for their loving care of both Al and Marilyn over the past several years.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Steele Funeral Home, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm. With the family receiving friends from noon until the time of service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, Memorial Donations to your local Food Bank would be a fitting tribute to Al’s memory.
