Rose Bellwood of Belleville, Ontario passed away peacefully at Hospice Quinte, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the age of 100, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 74 years, George Wilson Bellwood. She was the proud mother of Doug (Patricia), Bob (Donna), and Larry (Susan), grandmother of Krista (Dave) Darryl (Jenn), Erin, Cassandra (Sean), Todd (Amy), and Andy (Marie), and great grandmother of Ethan, Jared, Nathan, Chloe, Nickolas, and Brandon. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Fred and Margaret Vinkle, brothers Wally Vinkle (Grace), Henry Vinkle (Evelyn), Ken Vinkle (Helen), Len Vinkle (Beulah), Derwood Vinkle (Mary), and sisters Kathleen Warren (Willy), Ellen Vinkle, Agnes Bain (Arthur). Also predeceased by George’s parents Tom (Mary), sister Ethel Embury (Harold), and brothers Howard Bellwood (surviving Faye), and Albert Bellwood (surviving Shirley). The family would like to thank Belleville General Hospital and Hospice Quinte for their excellent care.
