Rosemarie Leavitt

September 16, 1931 - January 14, 2025

Peacefully entered into rest at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Rosemarie Leavitt (nee Istead) of Bloomfield died at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Morley Istead and Vera (nee Kleinsteuber) and was the beloved wife of the late John. Rosemarie was the loving mother of Sheryl Taylor of Bloomfield, Dean (Leanne) of Picton and the late Wayde (surviving Kathy) of Bloomfield. She was the dearest grandmother of David (Monica), Stephanie (Joel), Jeff (Jen), Jessica (Kevin) and Heather and great grandmother of Brooklyn, Savannah, Jachin, Sophia, Zachary, Fynn, Renee, Simon and Carter. Rosemarie was the sister of Roland Istead (late Patricia) of Picton and Oralee Fagan (Terrence) of Smiths Falls and the late Patricia Kingsley (late George). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Leavitt is resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Private Family Funeral Service will be held. Spring Interment Cherry Valley Cemetery.
