Shelley Ann Haennel

August 20, 1953 - July 13, 2024

Shelley Ann Haennel, age 70, of Picton, passed away at Picton Hospice surrounded by friends and family on July 13, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on August 20, 1953, to the late John E. Joynson and late Marjorie Joynson (nee Wallace), in Lanchine, Quebec. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Gary Haennel of Picton. Loving mother to Tyler of Picton, and Troy (Alyssa) of Picton. She is greatly missed by her 2 grandchildren Payton (Dominik) of Picton, and Greer of Picton. Shelley is survived by her two sisters Marlene (Rudy) of Belleville and Alanna (Gary) of Belleville and predeceased by sister Barbie Joynson. Shelley will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her many friends and extended family. A private family graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery. Friends are invited to celebrate Shelley’s life at the Picton Elks Hall, from 1pm-4pm, Sunday, July 28th.
